Welcome to Kaleo AI! We built this from the ground up with YOUR local church in mind, so you can reach more people with your message.

How Kaleo AI works: Our system takes the audio from your church sound system and streams it to our translation platform. We'll translate your service into 150+ languages in real-time, allowing your congregation to listen with headphones or read the captions in their preferred language on their own device.

This guide will walk you through everything you need to get your church up and running with Kaleo AI. Let's get you set up!

Step 1: Create Your Account

First things first – you'll need a Kaleo AI account to access your church dashboard.

  1. Visit our signup page: Go to https://app.getkaleo.ai/auth/signup

  2. Enter your email address and create a password

  3. Verify your email: Check your email for a verification link to confirm your account

What this account is for: This is your admin account that you'll use to:

  • Sign in to your church dashboard

  • Manage your audio stream during services

  • Handle billing and subscription settings

  • Add other team members who need access

Step 2: Set Up Your Church Profile

After creating your account, you'll be guided through setting up your church profile. This helps congregation members find and connect to your church's translations.

You'll need to provide:

  • Church Name: Enter your church's full name exactly as you want it to appear to users (e.g., "Hope Bible Church" or "Primera Iglesia Bautista")

  • Location: Add your city and state/country. This helps people find you when searching in the app.

  • Handle: This is the unique identifier for your church's caption link that you'll share with your congregation. Think of it as your church's "username" for Kaleo AI (e.g., app.getkaleo.ai/c/fbdallas

Important: a short handle is easier to share verbally or type quickly. Some good examples:

  • "Hope Bible Church" β†’ hbc

  • "First Baptist Dallas" β†’ fbd or fbdallas

Once you complete your church profile, you'll arrive at your church dashboard – your control centre for everything Kaleo AI!

Step 3: Set Up Your Audio Input

Now it's time to connect an audio feed to Kaleo AI. This is what we'll use to translate your services. Please see our article for instructions on setting up your audio input.
